For this project, the real challenge was rebuilding. When a brand changes hands, refreshing the surface is not enough: the whole experience needs renewed consistency. The Danika redesign therefore aimed to bring the store in line with the brand’s new ambition. We needed to communicate product value more clearly, improve the hierarchy of the offer, and create a far more credible foundation for growth. The site now positions Danika as a brand of healthy products for the home and body, with clear core promises: naturally derived ingredients, 100% French manufacturing, hypoallergenic and vegan formulas, and no single-use plastic.
One of the most important priorities was making repeat purchases easier. With a catalog like Danika’s, a significant share of performance depends on customers being able to reorder quickly without going through a cumbersome journey. The store was therefore designed to make returning purchases feel natural, with fast access to products, sizes, refills, and everyday essentials. This approach is particularly consistent with the offer shown on the site, which is built around recurring-use products such as laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, multipurpose cleaners, and dishwasher tablets.
We also carried out in-depth work on product pages and catalog clarity. The value proposition needed to be easier to understand, the differences between products clearer, and the use cases more tangible. Danika sells household products, personal-care items, sustainable accessories, and ready-to-use kits: without a genuine restructuring, this variety can quickly lose commercial effectiveness. The redesign therefore organized the range more clearly while giving greater prominence to the brand’s most distinctive benefits: performance comparable to conventional cleaners, skin-friendly ingredients, concentrated formats to dilute, durable bottles, a zero-waste approach, and French manufacturing.
The visual repositioning also played a decisive role. The brand needed to move beyond a perception that felt too simple or too small-scale and adopt a more premium, polished, and professional presence without losing the substance of its identity. The goal was not to smooth out Danika’s character, but to give it a more accomplished, contemporary, and reassuring expression. The site now features more considered product presentation, clear reassurance blocks, better-highlighted best sellers, ready-to-use kits, highly visible customer reviews, and more structured messaging around formulation care, French expertise, and waste reduction.
Finally, the redesign included an essential SEO dimension. When a brand is starting again from scratch, or nearly so, after a takeover, the store must once again become an asset capable of supporting organic visibility. This requires a cleaner architecture, more readable pages, a better-structured catalog, clearer content hierarchy, and product pages that meet both visitor expectations and indexing requirements. In this context, Shopify needed to become not only a better store, but also a stronger platform for relaunching the brand.
